DO YOU RECOGNIZE PHISHING?

        It is important to be able to distinguish genuine from fake emails. Read our tips for recognizing Phishing (fake emails).

    • SENDER
      Check the sender's address
    • DISTINCTING
      It is difficult to distinguish between a legitimate and a fake email address. See the example. At the first e-mail address 110 (numbers) have been replaced by IIO (letters) mail@53110info.nl and mail@53IIOinfo.nl.
    • DOMAIN NAME
      Take a good look at the domain name. This can be recognized by what follows the @ in the e-mail address.
    • MAIL ADDRESS US WEBSITE ADDRESS
      Check if the email address matches the website address
  • LANGUAGE AND / OR TYPING ERRORS
    Many phishing emails contain language and / or typing errors
